It’s the How!

Published on Oct 7, 2012 by Terence Chatmon

What a glorious time in Marina del Rey for our 33rd Annual Conference! We gathered, we talked, we grew in knowledge, and we networked. We were challenged, we prayed, we learned from each other, we were moved to action, we worshipped, we heard a global vision and we each committed to pray for at least one of thirty influential cities, including Los Angeles, Chicago and New York.

We were awed by all the ways that God showed up. He made himself known in the conversations, in the landscape, and in the ideas we took with us to implement. We were convicted that it’s not about the ‘what’ – it’s about the ‘HOW’ and that’s what makes us, as Christian business leaders, different. “As water reflects a face, so a man’s heart reflects the man.” Proverbs 27:19.

Yes, we had personal encounters with the Creator of the universe.

We opened the conference with the passion of Luis Palau, and closed with a surprise guest, Pastor Rick Warren (Author of The Purpose Driven Life) who challenged us to ask, as God asked Moses, ‘What is in your hand?’ When we give to God who we are and what we are – He transforms it – and makes it come alive. Personally, I will never look at a walking stick (or my business) the same way – because after we lay it down, and God touches it, it becomes the “rod of God” and can be used by God to perform miracles. We are pleased to offer you the full video of Pastor Rick Warren. After you listen, send us a note and let us know how God spoke to you about “what’s in your hand.”
